This article only applies to Squared Up Version 2.0. If you're looking for help with Squared Up Version 3.0, please visit our new knowledge base

By default, Squared Up is installed into the IIS 'Default Web Site' root directory. This is typically C:\inetpub\wwwroot\.

An alternative install location can be specified using a command line option.

To install to an alternative location, run the setup application from the command line as follows:

SquaredUpInstaller-2.X.exe --prop.installroot:<directory path>

For example:

SquaredUpInstaller-2.0.exe --prop.installroot:"D:\Applications"

Squared Up will create a new directory (named 'SquaredUp' by default) at the path specified. In the example above, Squared Up would be installed to D:\Applications\SquaredUpV2.

The install location only needs to be specified for the initial install. When upgrading, the installer can be run normally without command line arguments.
