Squared Up Open Access dashboards are perfect for publishing to wall-mounted monitors or wall-boards.

Use Open Access

With Squared Up v2.3 onwards we've completely reworked our concept of read-only dashboards, introducing Open Access.

When publishing a dashboard simply tick ‘enable open access’ and both SCOM and non-SCOM users can have access to a static non-interactive image of the dashboard which updates every minute. The benefit of Open Access is that there is no need to set up an additional Squared Up instance, users are not prompted to login, it does not consume user licenses and it is highly scalable. You can choose to create an Open Access navigation bar or just give access to the randomised URL.

For more information see Open Access Dashboards

Customize the dashboard URL for full screen display

To maximize the dashboard on the screen, you can automatically remove the navigation bar and header by modifying the URL using the Link Sharing option:

For more information see Link Sharing and URL parameters

Automatically rotating through dashboards

On a wall monitor it's great to rotate through particular Open Access dashboards.

You can configure a set of dashboards to cycle automatically on your wallboards by using our rotation profiles, see How to configure auto-rotating dashboards

Alternatively you can do this by searching and adding a browser extension, for example in Chrome you can use "Revolver - Tabs".

Use the browser zoom

The best way to enlarge the dashboard for viewing on a wall monitor is to use the browsers zoom functionality.
