Backup your Configuration Files
If you want to backup the current content of Squared Up, you will want to take a backup of the following directories before uninstalling:
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SquaredUpv2\Maps (if you have it)
Download the Microsoft Uninstall Troubleshooting tool
Once the tool is running, follow the wizard and specify that you wish to Uninstall 'Squared Up (v2) for System Center Operations Manager'.
It will take several minutes to remove the product.
Delete any remaining registry entries
- Open the registry editor (Start -> Run -> regedit)
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\
- Delete the 'SquaredUp' key and all its contents and sub keys.
Delete any remaining IIS configuration
Delete both the application pool (SquaredUpv2) and the application entry under IIS
Delete any remaining files on disk
Delete C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SquaredUpv2 and all of its content
Remove SCOM role
Squared Up creates an additional user role for Open Access which you may wish to remove. This user role is under "Read-Only Operator" named "Squared Up Open Access Servers". You can navigate to this via the Operations Manager Console -> Administration -> Security -> User Roles
Remove any custom SQL users
If you have added any security or data warehouse custom users you may have to delete these from your SQL server.
These can be found via SQL Server Management Studio -> Security -> Logins
